| | Integrating Mini Sound Level Meter with Maximum Performance | |
| |
| With its compact design, the Boogie™ sound level meter has excellent new features. It is designed to be extremely easy to use so that no previous experience is necessary. Measurement errors are avoided by means of automatic calibration and range selection. The large and clearly arranged display of the measured values both in figures and as a bar graph facilitate the measurement process. Having only 3 buttons, the device is extremely simple to operate. The plastic foil keyboard can be cleaned easily and the stainless steel microphone housing withstands the usual wear and tear. Its very favorable price, easy handling and small dimensions make Boogie™ the ideal device for firms, citizens' initiatives and private individuals whose budget normally does not permit the purchase of noise measuring instrumentation. |
| An innovation for this type of sound level meter is that Boogie™ also measures the A-weighted equivalent continuous sound pressure level LAeq (1 second value or start/stop) in addition to the A-weighted sound pressure level and its maximum value. With the help of an acoustic calibrator the device is calibrated fully automatically. This calibration also remains intact after switching off the device. | Technical Data | | Applicable standards | IEC60651/804 Type 2 | | Measurement functions | Sound level Lp, Maximum sound level Lmax and Equivalent sound pressure level LAeq | | Frequency weighting | A | | Time weighting | Fast | | Measurement range | 30 ... 130 dB, automatic or manual | | Microphone | 1/4-inch electret | | Calibration | automatic to 94 dB | | Resolution | 0.1 dB | | Display | Measured value with 3.5 digits, Quasi-analog bar graph, Menu text | | Batteries | 2 x AA | | Operating time | 120 h typical (with one set of batteries) | | Dimensions | 170mm x 62mm x 30mm3 | | Weight | 168 g |
