Modal Analysis Software for Test Engineers
  The well-known modal analysis software package ME'scope VES from Vibrant Technology, Inc. has been developed for machine manufacturers and test engineers and co-operates optimally with SINUS hardware. Data acquisition with ME'scope can be performed directly using Soundbook, HARMONIE or MSX16. As an alternative, measurement data can be imported from SAMURAI.

Depending on the platform, from 2 up to 128 synchronous digital measurement channels and outputs are available to the user in the laboratory and for field testing.
The ME'scope software package is very versatile and offers almost unlimited possibilities for the qualified mechanical engineer. During the measurement, the selected results are displayed in real-time windows. Simultaneously the measurement values are stored on hard disk for further analysis. The data can be stored and output in various formats (WMF, WAV, µGraph, etc.).

  • Waterfall and Campbell diagrams
  • Scaling by degree of crank angle
  • Rotational vibration analysis
The MODAL ANALYSIS is performed using transfer functions which have been recorded with the SIGNAL ANALYSIS. Transfer functions in UFF format can easily be imported from other software packages, e.g. the SAMURAI FRF option.
The following modal values are calculated:
  • Characteristic frequency
  • Attenuation degree
  • Eigenvector
The work of the engineer is simplified by convenient measurement data management functions, the Geometry Editor and the animation.
