Web-based Vibration Monitoring and Diagnosis

The economic importance of permanent vibration monitoring of combustion engines and other machines, as well as decentralized generators such as wind power stations, is continuously increasing. The availability of units can be improved by permanent online monitoring and technical diagnosis because dates for service and maintenance can be optimized.
With the Swing vibration monitoring system SINUS Messtechnik has developed a compact and cost-effective device with a convincing modular hardware and software concept that is compatible with HARMONIE.

Due to its low costs, Swing can now also be used for monitoring tasks which up to now have been too expensive.
Furthermore, Swing can be combined with microphones and software for noise monitoring. The costs of this monitoring system are lower than those of systems including more equipment (UPS, cabinet, etc.).
The integration into higher-level software structures is enabled by a clearly documented TCP/IP interface.
An unlimited number of Swing stations can be attached to a network. If necessary, the maintenance department, the diagnostic service provider or other authorized personnel have access to the measurement data and/or are regularly informed about operational and alarm conditions by the individual Swing stations.
Swing can also be employed as a stand-alone solution which communicates with the service department via the optional modem.
